About Mike Branch, CFP®

I became a financial planner in 1992 and joined Focus Financial in May of 1995.

I am committed to serving my clients by helping them plan for their retirement, develop reliable retirement income sources, and find ways to pass more of their wealth on to future generations. I help my clients keep more of their assets for themselves, pass more on to their beneficiaries and reduce the amount of their life savings that is consumed by income and estate taxes.

My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of MN. I am also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a member of Ed Slott’s Master Elite IRA Advisor Group™, a private study group of financial advisors with extensive IRA experience. Through this affiliation I receive on-going, specialized training in IRAs and retirement plan distribution strategies. Staying sharp on the latest IRA laws, regulations and strategies is a fundamental value that I bring to the table.

I am also active in my community and serve on the board of directors for Can Do Canines – Home of Hearing and Service Dogs of MN.

My family includes my beautiful wife and two daughters, and a lovable Lab named Leo.
